Megan is a facilitator, writer, and designer who creates space for young people and adults to connect as whole humans. She leads Deep Writing Project for educators and co-facilitates the Action Research Team as an adult ally. She’s known for her warmth, skill at reading (and responding to) a room, and ability to embrace messiness and name the hard stuff in order to move us closer to solutions. She believes that play, art, and stories are essential to radically imagining our futures, and she can be counted on to bring gentle challenge and deep knowledge of liberatory education and cultural practices to keep a group engaged and connected.
Megan has attended the Red Clay Writing Project’s Summer Institute, a site of the National Writing Project at the University of Georgia, Athens, and is a National Writing Project Site Director and Teacher-Consultant. She is also a trained teacher of MIndful Self Compassion.
