Educator Community Collaboratives

The events and workshops in our collaboratives are an antidote to burnout. They are spaces for reflection, creativity, community-building, and learning.

We often model strategies that educators can use to attend to their own well-being, and then bring them into their classrooms to support their students.  We also create opportunities for local educators to ask each other questions, be heard by a sympathetic ear, and begin collaborations.

You don’t have to take our word for it; here are some things that participants have said:

    • This gathering was honestly life-changing for me. The speakers were unique and fantastic, the folks attending were delightful, and I feel a renewed confidence about my role.
    • Compared to other types of professional learning I’ve attended, Fierce Self-Compassion for Educators by Deep Center balances skill development and relationship/human development. I love participating in Deep’s offerings because I know I’ll be surrounded by amazing people.
    • I love the ethics of the Unconference; its compassion and commitment to cultural sensitivity, humor, and solutions.
    • The Deep Writing Project created space to imagine, to picture what could be and what needs to be manifested to revolutionize learning and education. The expectations on our participation made room for mistakes, differences, and incompletions as part of how we define success or achievement.

Some programs have limited availability and require an application. All are free.

See below for more information, including what local educators have said about these offerings.
