Phoenix Initiative (Ages 14-17)
The Phoenix Initiative is a program that cultivates voice, agency, and resilience among system-impacted youth through a restorative, trauma-informed, and justice-centered lens. Key goals are to strengthen identity, build conflict resolution skills, and empower youth to imagine and contribute to a more humanizing and hopeful environment, within and beyond the justice system. Phoenix Initiative programming is offered in partnership with the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice’s Regional Youth Detention Center and the Educational Transition Center.
