Leona Humphries is a site coordinator and longtime Savannah resident originally from the DC Metro area. She earned her M.Ed. in education policy and leadership from American University, specializing in middle and high school youth. Leona brings her passion for community advocacy
and educational outreach to the Young Author Project. Her interests include short stories and poetry. When she is not writing, you can find her spending time with friends and family watching baseball or Premier League soccer, or hanging out with her cats, Mo Pumpkin and Kitty Jo.
