In today’s Savannah Morning News, Deep Center Executive Director Dare Dukes has penned a powerful argument in favor of creative youth programming to nurture young leaders that can teach Savannah a thing our two about its young people:
“André is an exceptional young man, to be sure. (You should have seen me fighting back tears during his White House speech.) But he is most certainly not the exception. Our schools are overfull with young Andrés. What he is, is a breed of powerful and creative young man who is in command of his own story.”
