DESCRIPTION:Drop–In works with youth (ages 7-18) in our community to provide fun\, accessible\, culturally-responsive\, and trauma-informed workshops. During the Just Us Academy\, participants will: \n\nOpening night dinner with a facilitated conversation and asset mapping exercise.\nWhat is movement work and community organizing 101 workshop lead by facilitators from The Leadership Conference Education Fund.\nTeach-in on Critical Hope and how to be a part of the larger campaign for a new hope city.\nYou exist in the context: A guided tour focused on movement history in Savannah.\nClosing open-air teach-in at The Weeping Time to understand where we have been and what’s at stake.\nOptional closing night dinner.
