Jonah Paterson (he/him) joined Deep in 2026 as a teaching artist with the Youth Action Research Team.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Jonah moved to Philadelphia to pursue a B.A. in philosophy at Haverford College. Jonah was named a Philadelphia Justice and Equity Fellow in 2025 while working with Let’s Circle Up, a restorative justice nonprofit, to expand operations in West Philly and beyond. He also volunteered inside SCI Phoenix prison in Skippack, PA, assisting with a first-of-its-kind restorative justice curriculum fully designed and facilitated by incarcerated men.
After graduation in 2026, Jonah moved to Savannah with his partner. When not at work or studying for the LSAT, he spends his time perfecting his chicken picatta recipe, re-tooling his Magic: the Gathering decks, and trying to read while being attacked by his new kittens.
