Inés is a writer, facilitator, and social worker who has been healing with communities since 2013. She is a first-gen American of Afro-Carribean descent who loves sunbathing and fresh bread.
Inés uses her social work skills and trauma-healing lens to support nonprofits and higher education institutions in serving their communities. Her experience largely focuses on community-building and healing, program development, workshop facilitation, and experiential education.
Her passion for storytelling comes from the practice of listening to and creating spaces for all voices to be heard – especially those of Black, Queer and Immigrant folks.
Inés graduated with her Masters of Social Work in 2015 and completed her Healing and Rebuilding Our Communities (HROC) trauma-healing training in 2018.
