Did you know Suzanne Somers wrote poetry? Did you know Snooki has 'written' three books? A Salute to Guilty Pleasures is a night of cocktails and comedy in which hard-working Deep volunteers take the night off to find the worst writing possible and read it in front of a live audience. Why? It is Deep's belief that a teacher without a sense of humor is a teacher without a sense of humility.

Deep is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization supporting arts education in Savannah, Georgia. Our goals are:
- to help students, aged 8-18, develop their writing skills;
- to encourage their voices as students, citizens, and artists;
- and to help teachers get their students excited about writing.
The method is simple: we connect dedicated volunteers with Savannah’s youth and provide them with private administrative and curricular support as they teach, inspire, and challenge our young people.
